Day 1
1. Students watch this documentary clip and, working in groups of two and three, respond to the following questions on a new Doceri page. What did you learn about the subject? How did it make you feel? What did you like about the filmmakers technique? If you made the same movie, what would you have done something differently?
2. Working in groups of two and three, students use the iPad application Doceri to brainstorm ideas for a short documentary [each person in the group should open their own Doceri page].
3. Students present their ideas to the class using AirPlayer or Doceri desktop version, [which allows projection of the iPad onto a desktop PC connected to a digital whiteboard].
4. For homework, students watch this clip. Then write their thoughts about the clip in 50 to 75 words, and post this as a comment to the class Edmodo website [group code: fh9k9x]. It is recommended that teachers review this article prior to class.
